Well another week has come and gone. We spent a lot of time
contacting and knocking doors this last week. We had a little bit of
success and were able to fix a few rendezvous for this week so that was
good. We had one day in particular that was really good. We had an hour
before taking a bus and so we started contacting people on the street.
In one hour we found three new people to teach so that was super
awesome! We have already seen one of them and he is really cool his name
is ***** and he was going to be a Catholic priest but found some things
in the Catholic church that he did not agree with. We are hoping he
will love church and gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon.
One of the big highlights of this week was a Family home evening
that we had. We took **** our American investigator over to a Swedish
couples house for dinner and a lesson. The member made so much food--so
the dinner was great and then we had a solid lesson. **** is going to go
back to the states this week so we focused on the Book of Mormon,
trying to help him to make a habit of reading it so when he goes home he
will keep reading it and meet with the missionaries there.
Other than that it was a pretty slow week. This week however is
going to be crazy. Today we are going to St. Malo, a town in our area
that is right on the coast. We are visiting a member and going to see
the sites. Tomorrow are going to Paris for a few days for exchanges with
the APs and then Thursday we have our district meeting. I am excited to
have a busy week it should be great and hopefully we will find some new
investigators.
