Hey everyone!
So this last week
was a pretty good week. We did a lot of knocking doors and it went super
well. We were able to teach 3 lessons just by knocking doors and found a
couple of new amis so things are looking pretty good at the moment.
Last Saturday we felt like we needed to go do a passback that was a
little far away. We decided to go and to choose a road to port that was
nearby. We prayed about the a few roads and finally chose one. We went
out there and did the passback that ended up being a waste of time and
then started porting. It seemed like nobody was home but we felt like it
was still the right place so we kept going. Eventually we ported into a
really nice French couple that we ended up teaching. The lessons went
well and they told us to come back. It was a cool experience.
So
last Tuesday on the way home from District meeting the senior couple
took us on a detour and we stopped at Omaha Beach. We had shortened our
preparation day that week so we got to spend about 2 hours visiting the
memorial. It was a crazy awesome experience that I will never forget.
